How to prepare a tarot reading

I’d like to share with you all the ritual I do before a tarot reading. I have clients that tell me that this method makes them feel more confident in me and in tarot itself. The truth is that I like it very much. 

 First of all, as in any other ritual, the fact of just doing it ,already helps you relax & get mentally ready focus on what you are going to do. That only reason makes it worth it. Furthermore, if you explain your client what you are doing and what the meaning is, you engage him in a conversation and create a warm atmosphere. A picture is worth a thousand words…

It’s all about placing the 4 elements: Earth, Water, Air and Fire:

• Earth is represented by the coarse salt, up on the right side of the picture. 
• Water is simple to represent. Just a glass of water, as seen in the picture down left. 
• Air is represented by incense, down right in the picture. 
• Fire is also quite simple. A white candle is enough, no matter big or small. In my case I put it inside a small vessel to protect the flame from the wind, since I love doing tarot readings outdoors.
