Good Friday is coming and our friend, Ana Morales, wants to share with us a little advice for those of you that can seize the day out in nature. Ana tell us today about rosemary, from the best time to collect it —Good Friday— and keep it, and also a little ritual for house or business cleanse.

Good Friday Rosemary

Hello, friends. Today I want to share with you a brief advice / ritual, seizing the Good Friday day.

My father always told me that the best rosemary is collected on Good Friday. Since he passed away, I always try to go collect some rosemary on this day. Once collected, I let it dry in cloth bags so as it can breathe and it doesn’t rot. I do not let it hang loose because the leaves are very small and they may fall with the air breeze.

I like also to burn some rosemary for making cleanses of bad energy in closed spaces (home, work, business, etc). Furthermore, if you keep a sprig of rosemary on top of a closet (not inside), you’ll have a way to have your house protected from “unwanted visitors”. It can also be burn a little while doing a tarot reading as replacement of incense.

And of course, it’s perfect for cooking. A good mountain ‘paella’ can be delicious with a sprig of rosemary.
